Decolonizing Our Minds

A course on deconstructing patterns of dominance to start building a more anti-racist world

Sign me up!
Racism and injustice have been around for centuries. Long after colonizers left foreign lands, self-hate and institutional suppression of Black and brown peoples continued.
How can we decolonize our culture, our institutions, and most importantly, our minds?
How can we eliminate the self-hate that often exists in suppressed communities?

For the first time, I’ve put together everything I think folks need to know in their journey towards becoming anti-racist!

 In this course you will:

"I had no idea I would end up feeling this way. I have followed Saira on IG for a couple of years (more or less) and really appreciate her perspective, but have never taken any classes by her, so I didn't know what to expect. I thought it would be good, but it was great!"
"This course is amazing and Saira is a great teacher! This was a very hard subject and I know that I, as a white American married to and Indian, felt that the entire content was curated for me, specifically. I spoke to my husband about it and he felt it was directed towards people like him. I think of his parents (Indians born in India under British rule just before partition) and feel like they would have felt the same thing. I can imagine that it would touch anyone, with or without a connection to the Indian Subcontinent, similarly."
"I didn’t know where to start, what is decolonization and how I’m impacted by it, this workshop gave the perfect introduction and gave a burning desire to do more in-depth study and I walked out with a direction to move forward."
